North Andover, Mass. (September 22) -- Despite a season-high 12 kills for freshman Bizzie Gonring (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Dominican), the Hounds fell to Merrimack College in their second consecutive five-set match.

Gonring had a team-high 18 points and .391 attack percentage in the loss.

Steph Whooten (Norton, Mass./Bishop Feehan) had 20 digs to lead the Hounds, while Kristin Flatekval (Mahwah, N.J./Immaculate Heart) had 31 assists.

The set scores were 25-20, 13-25, 25-27, 25-18, and 12-15.

The Hounds fell to 4-9 on the season with the loss, and 0-3 in the Northeast-10.

Assumption travels to Le Moyne to take on the Dolphins on Saturday, Sept. 24th. The match will begin at 10:00 a.m.
