Pleasantville, N.Y. (October 6) -- The Assumption College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 final to Pace University at the Goldstein Fit Center on Saturday afternoon. The set scores were 25-18, 25-16, and 25-22.

Junior Jess Reimers (Okemos, Mich./Okemos) had a team-high 13 digs, while junior Ryan Merle (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) had a team-high 11 kills.

Junior Kristin Flatekval (Mahwah, N.J./Immaculate Heart) had 31 assists, while junior Mary Johnston (Pearland, Texas/Glenda Dawson) had 10 kills in the loss.

The Greyhounds fall to 9-13 overall and 3-4 in Northeast-10 Conference play, while the Setters improve to 7-13 and 1-2 in league play.

Assumption will return to action on Oct. 9 against the University of New Haven. The match will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Laska Gymnasium in Worcester, Mass.
