Worcester, Mass. (November 8) -- The Assumption College Volleyball team fell in five sets to Le Moyne College at the Laska Gymnasium on Thursday night.

The Greyhounds jumped out to a two-set lead, but dropped the final three sets to fall to 10-19, with a 4-10 record in Northeast-10 Conference play. The Dolphins improve to 15-11 overall and 6-8 in league play.

Ryan Merle (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) had a match-high 11 kills for Assumption, while the Dolphins used a balanced attack with three players recording eight kills in the win.

For Assumption, Kristin Flatekval (Mahwah, N.J./Immaculate Heart) had a match-high 27 assists.

The Greyhounds close out their season on Saturday, Nov. 10 against Franklin Pierce University. The match will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Laska Gymnasium. Prior to the game the Greyhounds will honor their senior class.
