Rindge, N.H. (October 26) -- The Assumption College volleyball team dropped a three-set match to Franklin Pierce University at the Franklin Pierce Fieldhouse on Saturday evening. The set scores were 20-25, 20-25, and 18-25.

The Greyhounds fall to 4-15 on the season and are now 1-9 in Northeast-10 Conference play with the loss while the Ravens improve to 8-6 overall and 3-4 in the league.

Sophomore Tara Reilly (Naples, Fla. / Northport) had 10 kills on an incredibly efficient 13 attacks. The middle hitter had a .692 hitting percentage in the match. Senior Lauren Ostafin (Avon, Conn. / Avon) ranked second on the Greyhounds with nine kills.

Senior Jess Reimers (Okemos, Mich. / Okemos) led the team defensively with 19 digs while Ostafin had 12 digs to finish second on the team.

Senior Kristin Flatekval (Mahwah, N.J. / Immaculate Heart) had 35 assists to direct the Greyhounds offense as the Greyhounds collectively hit .196 in the match.

The Greyhounds are back in action on October 29th at Bentley University. The match will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Waltham, Mass.
