New Haven, Conn. (September 27) -- The Assumption College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 final to the University of New Haven at the Charger Gymnasium in front of a crowd of nearly 200 on Friday night. The set scores were 18-25, 14-25, 17-25.

Sophomore Courtney Bagwell (Diamond Bar, Calif. / Diamond Bar) led the Greyhounds defensively with 21 digs, one of four Hounds to reach double-digit digs.

Senior Lauren Ostafin (Avon, Conn. / Avon) had a team-high six kills in the loss.

The Greyhounds fall to 3-8 overall and are now 0-3 in Northeast-10 Conference play while the Chargers improve to 6-3 overall and 2-0 in league play.

Assumption is back in action on October 1st at Merrimack College. The match will begin at 7 p.m.
