WORCESTER, Mass. – The College of Saint Rose handed the Assumption University women's volleyball team their tenth-straight loss, as the Greyhounds dropped a 3-0 Northeast-10 Conference decision at home Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Golden Knights controlled the momentum of the match from the opening serve. Saint Rose ran out to an early 4-1 lead before it ballooned to 11-4. Following a quick 3-0 run for Assumption, the visitors exploded for 14 of the following 19 points to take the first set 25-12.
In the second set, the College of Saint Rose would snag an early 6-2 advantage before the Greyhounds rallied to get within one following a 3-0 spurt. The Golden Knight slowly expanded their lead to 15-10, but Assumption responded with a 5-0 run. With the score tied at 15-15, Saint Rose would use a large run to grab a 25-20 win in the second set.
The third set saw early runs by both sides, but with Saint Rose leading 16-13, they rattled off nine of the final 12 points to clinch the match after a 25-16 third set.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Anna Dean had a team-high seven kills, three blocks, and four digs.
- Kyra Belden paced the Blue and White offense with ten assists, while Brandy Montoya matched Belden with two aces.
- The Golden Knights had 16 aces and 12 blocks, compared to Assumption's six and three.
- Saint Rose leads the all-time series 18-4.
