WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University women's soccer senior day was spoiled, as they fell to No. 17 Franklin Pierce University 1-0 in Northeast-10 Conference action, Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Assumption came out of the gates on the attack, as they fired seven of the first eight shots of the game. Franklin Pierce flipped the script, as they finished the first half outshooting the Greyhounds 10-8.
The Ravens eventually broke the scoreless tie in the 53
rd minute, as Hailey Goodman crossed the ball into the box, where she found Jasmine Perez-Acosta headed the ball into the top left corner. Despite a late push by the Greyhounds Franklin Pierce would hold on to a 1-0 win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Julia Walsh tied a career-high with 13 saves on the afternoon.
- The Ravens outshot the Greyhounds 22-14, while also having ten corners to four for Assumption.
- Franklin Pierce still leads the all-time series 30-5-5.
