WORCESTER, Mass. – Alexis Distasio recorded a double-double, yet Assumption University women's volleyball team fell to Saint Anselm College in straight sets, 3-0, in Northeast-10 Conference action Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Saint Anselm would jump out to an early lead (6-1), but Assumption chipped away at the deficit to tie the first set (9-9). The Hawks continued to string together runs, but the Greyhounds answered each run. St. A's captured the first set 25-20.
In the second set, Assumption would control the beginning portion, as they led as late as 21-20, but a 5-0 run by the Hawks would close out the set.
The third set began close, but Saint Anselm rattled off seven-straight points to pull away and would eventually win the set 25-18.
