Assumption was in control since the opening tip, as they outscored their opponents by 17 points in both first quarters, holding a 50-16 lead at halftime. 13 different Greyhounds got minutes, with all but one scoring. Curran led the way with 19, while Stokes was close behind with 15, and Callahan chipped in 10 as well, going a perfect 4-4 from the field. The Greyhounds capitalized on the glass and in transition, getting 12-second chance points and 11 fast break points. The third quarter was a bit closer, with only a three-point advantage for Assumption, but the lead was too big for the Bears to overcome, even with a 16-point effort in the fourth quarter.
