WATERBURY, Conn. – Led by three points from
Ronny Paragallo and 34 saves from
Drew Benedict, the Assumption University men's ice hockey team scored four unanswered goals en route to a 5-3 win at Post University Saturday afternoon.

Score: Assumption University 5, Post University 3
Records: Greyhounds (8-6-0, 5-3-0 NE10), Eagles (3-11-0, 2-6-0 NE10)
HOW IT HAPPENED
Post University got the scoring started midway through the first period, as Nick Weber struck at the 7:24 marker. A minute later, Niko Grollman made it 2-0 Eagles.
Ronny Paragallo got the Greyhounds on the board with 3:35 showing on the clock, but Hugh McGuigan regained a two-goal advantage for the hosts before the end of the first period.
The second period was all Assumption, as Paragallo got the Greyhounds within two (3-2) at the 9:06 marker before
Christopher Stalmok tied the game just past the midway point. In the second period's final minute,
Camron Roberts' shot from the point beat the Eagles' netminder, giving Assumption their first lead.
Colin Montgomery tacked on an empty net goal in the final minute of regulation to secure the 5-3 win for the Greyhounds.
