HOW IT HAPPENED
Connecticut College started the scoring at the 7:51 marker of the first period, as Brett Moccia scored on a 5-on-3 power play.
Colin Philippon tied up the game for the Greyhounds with just over five minutes remaining in the first period as he tipped in the shot from the point by
Camron Roberts. The Camels regained a one-goal lead as Cole Eichler found the back of the net with 45 seconds remaining in the opening period.
After a scoreless second period, Connecticut College grabbed a two-goal advantage as Rocco Testa-Basi's screened shot from the point beat the Assumption netminder to the high blocker side.

- Drew Benedict recorded 32 saves in the crease for Assumption.
- Connecticut College outshot the Greyhounds 50-39, while the Camels won 47-of-77 faceoffs.
