HOW IT HAPPENED
In the first set, Saint Anselm jumped to an early lead (8-3), but the Greyhounds would answer each of the Hawks' runs. Assumption attempted to chip away at the five-six point spread, but St. A's took the first set 25-19.
Assumption would even the match at one set aside after they capitalized on 12 Hawks' errors to win the second set 25-23.
Saint Anselm bounced back in the third set, as they ran away with a 25-16 set win. Both sides were evenly matched in the fourth set, but when it was tied 11-11, the Hawks ran off six-straight points (17-11). Despite a late push by Assumption, Saint Anselm's clinched the match following a 25-19 set win.
