PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Assumption University football team ran for 273
yards on the ground as they picked up a 26-14 win over Pace University in the Greyhounds' Northeast-10 opener on Saturday afternoon.

Jake Cady tallied 184 yards of offense to lead Assumption, as the senior signal caller went 9-for-17 through the air for 87 yards and one touchdown while racking up 97 yards on the ground. Raekwon Washington scampered for 86 yards on 14 carries, while Berrell Neal and Larson Wilson scored rushing touchdowns. Baley Collier was the top target for Cady, as Collier pulled down three receptions for 60 yards, which included a 50-yard strike. Sean Leonard opened up the scoring for Assumption as his lone reception was a seven-yard TD.
On the defensive side, Osiris Acevedo paced the team with five tackles, while Isaac Hadac had four tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Jael Feliz recorded two tackles and a blocked kick, and Tre'Sean Bouie had an interception.
