SHREWSBURY, Mass.- The Assumption University women's rowing team kicked off their fall schedule on Lake Quisigamond to compete in the Quinsigamond Snake this past weekend.

The Greyhounds fielded a varsity four comprised of coxswain Bella Baker and, from stroke to bow,
Bella Perryman, Katie Ickes,
Isabella Anzalone, and
Carly Duvall. The boat rowed the nearly 3-mile course in 18:53, an improvement of two minutes and thirty-seven seconds over the crew's performance from last year's race.

The Greyhounds were just a few seconds behind WPI (18:51) and ahead of the University of New Hampshire's 2
nd four (19:27). The University of Rhode Island rowed the course in an impressive 16:32, with the majority of the boats in the field clocking times between eighteen and nineteen minutes.
