WALTHAM, Mass. – The Assumption University dropped their third straight matchup, falling to Bentley University 31-6 in Northeast-10 Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first half was all Bentley, as they started fast and furious. The Falcons opened the game with an opening drive touchdown. The game was broken open in the second quarter, as Bentley exploded for 17 unanswered points to go up 24-0 in the first half. The Greyhounds got their offense rolling in the third quarter, but the Assumption was held to just a field goal. The Blue and White cut the deficit to 24-6 with a Nicholas Chodak field goal to begin the fourth quarter.
Bentley put capping off the day with a 15-play 64-yard that lasted over 9:30 with a three-yard touchdown by Mark Waid.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Jay Kastantin and Chris Donohue combined for 21-for-43 for 178 through the air.
- Berrell Neal had seven carries for 46 yards, while Baley Collier was the top target with six grabs for 46 yards.
- Lorenzo Valencia was dominant on defense, as he tallied 17 tackles and four for loss. At the same time, Joe MacDougall blocked another kick to increase his nation's leading sixth block of the season.
