EAST MEADOW, N.Y. – The Assumption University women's ice hockey dropped their fourth-straight game, as the Greyhounds fell to Long Island University 3-0 in New England Women's Hockey Alliance action Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
LIU was the first team to score, as they found the back of the net with 2:22 showing on the first-period clock, as Jeannie Wallner scored. In the period, the Sharks had a slight advantage in the shot department, as they outshot Assumption 13-8 in the opening 20 minutes.
Carissa Mudrak stood on her head for the Greyhounds in the middle period, as the netminder recorded 17 saves in the frame, as LIU controlled the action with 17 shots to just one for the visitors. The Sharks added two power-play goals in the third period to secure a 3-0 home win.
