MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Assumption volleyball dropped their tenth straight match, as the Greyhounds fell to Saint Anselm's College 3-0 in Northeast-10 Conference action inside Stoutenburg Gymnasium Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After Assumption got the match's first point, it was all Saint Anselm, as they rattled off five straight and 11 of the following 12 points to go up 11-2. The Hawks continued to string together points, as their lead would balloon to 20-6 before winning the opening set 25-12.
The second set was a bit closer in the opening moments, but with the hosts leading 8-5, Saint Anselm rattled off six straight points to go up 14-6. The two teams would continue to trade points, but a 5-0 run midway through the set would set up a 25-14 second set win for the Hawks.
In the third set, the Greyhounds started fast, as they raced out to a 7-1 advantage. The Assumption lead would grow to 13-4, but the Hawks would not go quietly, as they would battle back and eventually tie the set at 17-17. The Hounds would have a 21-20 lead, but Saint Anselm finished the match by taking the final five points to win it 25-21.
