DAVENPORT, Fla. – Christopher Rabias drives in four runs, but the Assumption University baseball team dropped the first game of a four game series in Florida against Bentley University, 13-8 Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Assumption got on the scoreboard in the top of the second inning, as Rabias hit a three-run homerun to centerfield.
Jake Hamel capped off the frame with a solo shot to left field. Rabias put the Greyhounds up 5-0 in the top of third with a single to center field.
Bentley came roaring back as they plated seven runs in the fourth, two in the fifth, and two in the sixth on five homeruns.
Kevin Cox cut the deficit to 9-7 in the top of the sixth. The Falcons continued to pull away, as they scored four more runs to go up 13-7.
Jack Barry crossed the plate in the top of the ninth on a Cole Durkin sacrifice fly, but it would not be enough as the Greyhounds would fall to Bentley 13-8.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Cole Durkin drew three walks and scored two runs.
- MacGuire O'Sullivan got the start for the Greyhounds, as he went 3.2 innings with one strikeout.
