MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference announced that 64-percent of its overall student-athlete body has been selected to the Academic Honor Roll following the 2023 spring semester, as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon.
Among its 13 member and four associate member institutions, the Conference recognized 3,770 student-athletes (64%) for their academic achievements. The Academic Honor Roll (AHR) acknowledges the commitment of NE10 student-athletes to excel in the classroom with three designations: Academic Excellence (4.0 GPA), Academic Distinction (3.50-3.99 GPA), and Academic Honors (3.00-3.49).
Assumption University produced the second most honorees, with 341. 20 Greyhounds finished the semester with a 4.0, 158 received Academic Distinction (3.99-3.50), and the remaining 163 student-athletes earned academic honors (3.49-3.00).
The NE10 had eight sports produce 200 or more student-athletes with a minimum 3.0 GPA in the fall semester. Five institutions saw increases in their percentage of honorees compared to the 2022 spring semester. Four of 24 sports saw a boost in their total numbers.
