WORCESTER, Mass. – Sean Magarian and
Kyle Puchol swept the Northeast-10 Conference men's golf weekly awards, while Caroline Mäder earned honor roll status as announced by the NE10 Conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
Sean Magarian was named the NE10 Player of the Week after he shot a 5-under (135) with rounds of 69 and 66 to tie for first place at the FPU Fall Invitational. The Greyhounds finished second overall at +4 and bested the remaining NE10 teams in the field by at least 19 strokes.
Kyle Puchol picked up NE10 Rookie of the Week honors as he shot a two-over (68/74) in the Greyhounds' second-place finish at the FPU Fall Invitational.
Honor Roll
Caroline Mäder
went 4-0 on the week. In singles action, she won 6-3, 6-0 at Eastern Nazarene before winning 6-0, 6-1 at Gordon. With partner Caitlin Sze, they won 7-5 in topflight doubles at ENC before winning 8-4 at Gordon.
