WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University men's ice hockey team scores three power-play goals as the Greyhounds pick up a 5-4 Northeast-10 Conference win over Post University Wednesday evening at the Martire Family Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Assumption was the first team to score as
William Roberts found the back of the net at the 6:55 marker of the first period. The Greyhounds would carry a 1-0 lead into the second period after outshooting the hosts 15-11.
Ronny Paragallo opened up the middle frame with his conference-leading 19
th goal of the year, putting Assumption up 2-0. Post got on the board at the 7:40 marker, as they recorded a power-play goal. The Greyhounds recorded a PP goal of their own, as
Dara Conneely connected on a goal at 14:31. While Assumption was on the man-advantage, Ryan Mosher scored a short-handed tally at 18:46.
Sean Corliss capped off the second period with the Greyhounds' second power-play score in the frame, with under 44 seconds showing on the clock.
Assumption continued their dominance on the man-advantage in the third period, as
Leo Piandes scored at the 6:49 marker to go up 5-2. Post would not go quietly, as they got within two at 13:36, before adding another goal with the goalie pulled, but their comeback effort was thwarted as the Hounds came away with a 5-4 win.

- Michael Hauswirth recorded 34 saves to record the win for the Greyhounds.
- Assumption outshot Post 52-38, while the Eagles won 53 of 87 faceoffs.
- The Greyhounds went 3-for-6 on the man advantage, while Post was 1-for-5.
