WALTHAM, Mass. -The Assumption University field hockey team used a four-goal outburst to push their winning streak to nine games following a 4-0 win against Bentley University in Northeast-10 Conference action Friday afternoon at the Bentley Field Hockey Field.

How It Happened:
Assumption took control in the second quarter when Elle Murray netted the game's first goal at 18:35, assisted by Julia Carbone. The Greyhounds came out strong in the third quarter, doubling their lead at 43:00 with a goal from Mia Salah, set up by Callie Beauparlant. Less than two minutes later, Daisy Stone made it 3-0 with help from Chloe Kaeller. Athena Comeau wrapped up the scoring for Assumption at 57:04 in the fourth quarter, ensuring the Greyhounds' ninth consecutive win and their continued perfect record in the NE10.
Inside the Numbers:
- Assumption outshot Bentley 14-5, with 10 of those on target, compared to two for the Falcons.
- The Greyhounds also earned seven penalty corners while holding Bentley to two.
- Goalkeeper Paige Gillette posted her second consecutive shutout with two saves.
- The Greyhounds avenged an earlier non-conference loss to Bentley this season.
- Bentley leads the all-time series 48-16-1
