WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University took the second set, but the Bentley University Falcons took the 3-1 decision in non-conference action Tuesday evening in Laska Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Bentley started the first set with a slight lead, as they grabbed a 5-3 advantage. The Falcons' lead would grow to as large as nine (23-14). The two teams would trade the following four points and clinch the first set win for the visitors, 25-16.
The Greyhounds would garner the early momentum in the second set, as they would take an 8-4 advantage. Assumption would see their largest lead come at 16-10, following a combo block by
Alexis Distasio and
Sophia Kane. Bentley would not give up as they clawed back to tie the set at 20-20. The two teams traded the next six points, but another combination block by Distasio and Kane and an ace from
Brennah Abilheira-Cargill would lead to a 25-23 second set win for the hosts.
Bentley took complete control in both the third and fourth set, breezing to a 25-14 win in the third set, followed by a 25-9 win in the fourth set to complete the 3-1 win for the Falcons.
