WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University swimming and diving team wrapped up the second day of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships Friday evening at the WPI Sports & Recreation Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In the morning session,
Jenna Swist finished sixth in the Women's 500-yard freestyle preliminary with a time of 5:17.96. In the Women's 200-yard IM preliminaries,
Savina Villani finished in 3rd place with a time of 2:08.73, while
Isabella Smith came sixth at 2:13.40.
In the Women's 50-yard freestyle preliminaries,
Caroline McKay came in second place with a time of 24.10, while
Elizabeth Galicki took seventh at 24.77 seconds.
During the night session,
Jenna Swist came 7
th in the A Final of the Women's 500 Yard freestyle with a time of 5:22.91. In the Women's 200 Yard IM, the Hounds had four swimmers place:
Savina Villani (3rd, 2:07.48),
Isabella Smith (8th, 2:15.62),
Giulia Faulkner (15th, 1:21.01), and
Melanie Robertson (2:23.48).
Caroline McKay and
Elizabeth Galicki finished back-to-back in the Women's 50 Yard Freestyle in second and third places with times of 24.36 and 24.52. Also, Assumption's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay finished third with the team of
Jenna Swist,
Savina Villani,
Elizabeth Galicki, and
Caroline McKay with a time of 1:38.34. The Men's relay of the same distance came sixth, with the team of
Andrew Keenan,
Liam Goodlett,
Colin Brewer, and
Reked Caushaj clocking in at 1:28.11.
To round out the night, the Women's 400 Yard Medley Relay saw
Elizabeth Galicki,
Savina Villani,
Isabella Smith, and
Jenna Swist finish third with a time of 3:59.38, while the men came seventh with a time of 3:44.52. The team consisted of
Andrew Keenan,
Sean Leary,
Reked Caushaj, and
Colin Brewer.
