Emma Gurnell goal in the first period and a 23 save shutout by
Carissa Mudrak to pick up a 1-0 win at Sacred Heart University in New England Women's Hockey Alliance action Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Assumption came out on the attack, as they outshot Sacred Heart 12-7 in the opening 20 minutes. Halfway through the frame, the Greyhounds got on the board as
Emma Gurnell snuck one past the Pioneers' netminder.
After a scoreless second period, Assumption was able to slow down the pace of play, as they outshot Sacred Heart 8-4 in the frame to pick up the 1-0 road win.
