BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Assumption University baseball team wrapped up their Florida Spring Break trip by falling to No. 22 Lynn University 12-5 on Sunday afternoon at the Lynn Baseball field. 
THE BASICS
Score:  No. 22 Lynn University 12, Assumption University 5
Records: Greyhounds (3-8, 0-0 NE10), Fighting Knights (13-9, 3-3 SSC)
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Cole Fowler started the scoring in the bottom of the first inning, hitting a two-out solo home run. Assumption got on the board in the top of the second, as 
Jamison Howland scored on a passed ball.  Lynn regained the lead in the bottom half of the frame, as they plated three runs, before adding a fifth run in the third with Fowler going deep in his second at-bat of the day. 
 
The hosts added to their lead, plating two in the fourth, two in the fifth, and three in the sixth to go up 12-1. Assumption would not go quietly, as 
Cody Smith hit a two-run home run in the top of the eighth before 
James Mahoney doubled in a pair to cut the deficit to 12-5.
