WALTHAM, Mass. – The Assumption University men's lacrosse team could not keep up with Bentley University, as the Greyhounds fell to the Falcons 13-5 in Northeast-10 Conference action Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Bentley struck first, scoring in the opening minute. Then, the Falcons scored an own goal, and Assumption got on the board. The hosts responded with a pair before

Ryan Bogar recorded tallies to give the Greyhounds a 4-3 advantage with 3:49 remaining in the first quarter. Bentley closed the quarter with two goals to take a 5-4 lead after 15 minutes.
The Falcons would pull away in the second and third quarters, outscoring Assumption 5-0 in the final 30 minutes, extending the hosts' advantage to 10-4. Bentley carried their momentum into the fourth, as they netted three goals, but
Brady McNulty snapped their run of ten-straight goals at 1:28 left in regulation.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- James Lopes recorded 11 saves in the crease for the Greyhounds.
- Patrik McGrath was the lone Hound to record more than one point, as he had a goal and an assist.
- Bentley won 15-of-22 faceoffs while also outshooting the opposition 47-42.
