WORCESTER, Mass.— The Assumption University women's basketball team dropped their fourth-straight game, as the Greyhounds fell to No. 4 Bentley University 68-40 in Northeast-10 Conference action Saturday afternoon in Laska Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Bentley started fast as they scored the first 16 points of the contest.
Maeve Moriarty put Assumption on the board as
Molly Stokes found a streaking Moriarty for the easy layup. The Falcons stretched their lead 20-3 before the end of the first quarter.
The Greyhounds started to see shots fall in the second, as they got within 12, as Kamm had a layup with 33 seconds remaining in the frame. Bentley would take a 28-16 lead into the intermission. Coming out of the break, Assumption scored the first six points to get within six (28-22), but the Falcons responded with a 22-7 run to go up 50-29 entering the fourth quarter.
The two teams would play out the stretch, with Bentley pulling away for a 68-40 final score.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Teagan Kamm was the only Greyhound to eclipse double-digit points as the forward poured in 13.
- Bentley outrebounded Assumption 34-29 while scoring 24 points off 21 Greyhounds turnovers.
- The Falcons shot 42.1 percent (24-of-57) from the floor and 57.1 percent (8-of-14) from long range, while the Hounds were 35.7 percent (15-of-42) from the field and 11.8 percent (2-of-17) from beyond the arc.
- Bentley leads the all-time series 50-5.
