WORCESTER, Mass.— The Assumption University men's ice hockey team dropped their fifth straight game, as the Greyhounds fell to Saint Anselm College 6-1 in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup Friday evening at the Worcester Ice Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Saint Anselm started fast, as they opened the scoring at 1:20 of the opening frame, with Garrett Alberti finding the back of the net. The Hawks doubled their lead before the end of the first, as Luke Linart scored at 15:05. The Greyhounds would eventually break through, as
Ronny Paragallo scored on the power play, with
Leo Piandes and
Jonathan Surrette recording the helpers on the tally. Saint Anselm would not sit back as Hunter Bracket regained a two-goal advantage 1:35 later.
The Hawks would pull away in the third period, as they would net three goals in the final ten minutes of the contest.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Callum Welch recorded 38 saves in the loss.
- Saint Anselm outshot Assumption 44-36, while the Greyhounds won 44-of-77 faceoffs.
- Both sides went 1-for-3 on the power play.
