WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University field hockey team moved up one spot in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II National Coaches Poll, as they are currently ranked eighth, as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.

The Greyhounds (9-5, 8-1NE10) are led offensively by
Elle Murray, who has ten goals and four assists.
Daisy Stone (seven goals, four assists),
Julia Carbone (five goals, five assists),
Khianna Jackson (six goals, one assist), Mieke Rentsh (four goals, five assists), and
Taylor Tory (three goals, seven assists) add some balanced scoring to the Northeast 10 Conference's top-scoring offense.
Paige Gillette is the top netminder for the Hounds, as she supports a 0.93 goals-against average with 64 saves and four shutouts.
Assumption will have a pair of games this week. They will travel to Vermont on Wednesday, as they will take on Saint Michael's College at 6:00 pm, before closing out their home regular season schedule with a 5:00 pm matchup against Molloy on Saturday.
