WORCESTER, Mass. – After a seven-point week,
Jonathan Surrette took home Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Week, while
Dom Santiago's five-touchdown performance earned him Rookie of the Week, as announced by the Conference office on Monday afternoon.

Jonathan Surrette, Assumption

Surrette has continued his torrid pace to begin the new season, as he extended his point streak to seven games and multi-point streak to four games. This week, Surrette recorded five goals and two assists, as the Greyhounds went 2-0-1. At Fitchburg State, he scored a pair og goals and added an assist in the Hounds' 5-3 win. On Friday night at Saint Michael's, the 2023 NE10 Rookie of the Year scored two more goals in Assumption's 5-2 win. He capped off the weekend with a goal and an assist in the eventual 2-2 shootout win.

In his first collegiate start, Santiago went 9-for-15 passing for 258 yards and three touchdowns, while also adding two more scores on the ground. He had seven carries for 20 yards in the Greyhounds' 42-24 win at West Chester University that secured an NCAA playoff berth.
