WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University men's basketball team fell a few spots in the national polls this week, as they are ranked 22^nd in the National Association of Basketball Coaches poll, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

The Greyhounds (5-1, 0-0 NE10) are led offensively by Tayeshawn Cunningham-Pemberton, who has scored 16.5 points per game, while Noah Payne (15.5), Daouda Dembele (13.7), Matt Breen (12.0), Zee McCown (11.7), and Luke Michalski (11.3) all average 10+ points. 
 
The Hounds have the 13^th highest scoring offense in the nation (95.3 points per game), while also ranking in the top ten in fastbreak points (1^st – 26.50), turnovers forced per game (3^rd – 23.67), steals per game (3^rd – 16.2), assists per game (5^th - 21.8), turnover margin (5^th – 9.2), and field goal percentage (15^th – 51.7). 

Assumption begins Northeast 10 Conference action this week, as they travel to Pace on Wednesday (7:30 pm), before returning home to take on Southern New Hampshire University (3:30 pm).
