WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University men's basketball team fell a few spots in the national polls this week, as they are ranked 22
nd in the National Association of Basketball Coaches poll, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

The Greyhounds (5-1, 0-0 NE10) are led offensively by
Tayeshawn Cunningham-Pemberton, who has scored 16.5 points per game, while
Noah Payne (15.5),
Daouda Dembele (13.7),
Matt Breen (12.0),
Zee McCown (11.7), and
Luke Michalski (11.3) all average 10+ points.
The Hounds have the 13
th highest scoring offense in the nation (95.3 points per game), while also ranking in the top ten in fastbreak points (1
st – 26.50), turnovers forced per game (3
rd – 23.67), steals per game (3
rd – 16.2), assists per game (5
th - 21.8), turnover margin (5
th – 9.2), and field goal percentage (15
th – 51.7).
Assumption begins Northeast 10 Conference action this week, as they travel to Pace on Wednesday (7:30 pm), before returning home to take on Southern New Hampshire University (3:30 pm).
