WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Assumption University baseball team fell in an offensive explosion Saturday afternoon, as Rollins College took the contest 20-11 in non-conference action at Alfond Stadium at Harper-Shepherd Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a scoreless two innings, Rollins got on the board in the bottom of the third, as they plated five runs on two home runs. The hosts added two more in the bottom of the fourth before Assumption got on the board in the top of the fifth as they plated three runs with
Max Lefrancois and
Owen Podolec picking up RBI in the inning.
After surrendering a run in the bottom of the fifth, the Hounds struck for four runs in the top of the sixth, as Podolec and
Lorenzo Lombardo drove in the runs in the inning. Rollins answered with a two-run double in the bottom of the sixth, before the Greyhounds took their first lead of the weekend in the top of the seventh (11-10), as they struck for four runs in the frame. That lead quickly evaporated, as the Tars scored five in the bottom of the seventh and five more in the eighth to come away with a 20-11 final.
