WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University swimming and diving team wrapped up the third day of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships Saturday evening at the WPI Sports & Recreation Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Saturday evening finals began with Bella Smith taking eighth in the 400 yd IM (4:44.94).
Sophia Lake picked up the first gold for the Greyhounds, winning the women's 100 yd Breaststroke with a time of 1:06.16. She became the third straight Assumption swimmer to win the event (
Savina Villani – 2024, Sophia Lumino – 2023).
Kenny Guan took eighth in the men's 100 yd Breaststroke (58.62), while
Elizabeth Galicki took eighth in the women's 100 yd Backstroke (1:00.74).
Assumption capped off the day strong in the 200 yd Medley Relay. The women's squad of Galicki, Lake, Smith, and
Caroline McKay took fourth, shaving over three seconds off their seed time, touching the pads at 1:48.58. The men also dropped their time, as
Liam Goodlett,
Aidan Curry, Ray Caushaj, and Guan finished the relay fifth, with a final time of 1:36.76.
