HOW IT HAPPENED
Post was the first team to score, as Robbie McGrayne scored two minutes in. Cameron Theriault tied the game for Assumption as he found the back of the cage just under five minutes before the two teams traded the next few goals. The Greyhounds finished the opening frame strong, as Ben McHugh and Brian Shortt gave the visitors a 4-3 advantage.
The hosts tied the game in the early portion of the second before McHugh regained the lead for the Hounds, which kick-started a 7-0 run that stretched into the fourth quarter. Post made a run in the fourth quarter, but the Assumption lead was too great to overcome.
