WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The Assumption University baseball team dropped their fifth-straight contest, as the Greyhounds fell to the University of New Haven 7-1 in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon at Frank Vieira Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After New Haven plated one run in the bottom of the first inning, Assumption would get on the board in the top of the sixth inning as
Lorenzo Lombardo drove in
James McDermott. The Chargers regained the lead in the top of the seventh, scoring two runs, before adding four more in the eighth to pull away for a 7-1 final score.
Luke Barry, Evan Barrington,
Cole Constantine, and
Matt Connor had perfect innings on the mound for the Greyhounds.
