MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Assumption University men's basketball team had three student-athletes represented on the Northeast-10 Conference men's basketball all-conference lists as the Greyhounds earned four awards, announced Tuesday afternoon.

After being named to the All-Defensive team following the 2023-24 campaign, Daouda Dembele picked up his second-straight All-Defensive team honor while also being named to the All-NE10 Second Team. He started all 28 games, averaging a new career-high in points per game (11.0) while adding 6.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Defensively, Dembele ranked third in the NE10 with 34 blocked shots and added a career-high 29 steals. 
 
Njavan Stewart picked up his first career All-Conference honor as the graduate student was named to the Third Team. In 22 games off the bench, he averaged 11.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assists. On the defensive end, he set a new career-high with 16 blocks, with 17 steals. Stewart became the 46^th member in Assumption men's basketball history to surpass 1,000 career points on January 14^th at American International College and currently ranks 31^st all-time with 1,154 points. 
 
Lenny Tangishaka made his way onto the All-Rookie team. As a freshman, he averaged 6.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game. Tangishaka scored double-digit points seven times, including a career-high 17 points at Post in December. Defensively, he ranked second on the team in steals (35) and blocks (17). 

The No. 4 seeded Greyhounds fell to No. 5 Pace University in the NE10 Quarterfinals, 74-72, and will have to wait and see if they get an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament.    Player of the Year: Tray Alexander, Pace
