WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University men's lacrosse team continues their strong campaign with a 13-2 Northeast-10 Conference win over Franklin Pierce University Wednesday evening at Brian Kelly '83 Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Brady McNulty opened the scoring 58 seconds into the contest, putting Assumption on top. After Jackson Hale tied the game for Franklin Pierce,
Nolan Johnson regained the lead for the Greyhounds, where they would not look back.
Ben McHugh and
Cameron Theriault found the back of the cage as the Hounds ended the first quarter up 4-1.
The hosts would continue to thrive on both sides of the ball, as they outscored the Ravens 5-0 in the second quarter, with
Brian Shortt, Bogar,
Colby Bailey-Gates, and
Boomer Staunton finding the back of the cage to head into halftime up 9-1. Assumption outshot Franklin Pierce 38-12 in the opening 30 minutes while limiting them to just one goal.
In the second half, the Hounds' defense was locked down, as they held the Ravens scoreless for 51:55, between their two strikes, while Assumption saw goals from McNulty, Bogar, and Johnson in the second half to pick up a 13-2 win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Shane Corcoran logged 13 saves in three-quarters of action, while Colin Malone recorded six in the fourth.
- Assumption outshot Franklin Pierce 59-33 while also winning 15-of-19 faceoffs.
- Ryan Bogar and Brady McNulty each had three goals, while McNulty added three assists for a six-point evening.
- With eight wins on the year, it is the most since the 2019 campaign.
- Assumption leads the all-time series 14-9.
