PUEBLO, Colo. – Assumption University sophomore
Malina Bohlmann returned to the national stage, as she competed in the women's javelin in her second straight NCAA Division II National Championship, this year at Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl on the campus of Colorado State University at Pueblo.
Bohlmann started the day with her best throw of the season, her toss of 46.16m (151'6") placed her second overall in the first grouping. Her next two throws did not improve her standing.
Bohlmann just missed out on first All-American status, but was just one of two student-athletes to finish in the top ten in back-to-back years.
