WALTHAM, Mass.– The Assumption University field hockey team dropped their final non-conference matchup of the season, as the Greyhounds fell to Bentley University 2-1, Wednesday evening at the Bentley Field Hockey Field.

Daisy Stone by the near post, putting the Greyhounds up 1-0 just over two minutes into the contest. Bentley would score before the end of the first quarter as Layla Conway scored for the hosts. The Falcons would go ahead on the scoreboard five minutes into the third quarter, as Gracie Moore scored a diving goal.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Paige Gillette recorded three saves in the cage for Assumption.
- The Greyhounds outshot the Falcons 13-5, while also maintaining a 7-1 lead in penalty corners.
