MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa.— The Assumption University women's ice hockey team potted a pair of power play goals in the second period, but it was not enough, as the Hounds fell to Robert Morris University in non-conference action, Saturday afternoon at Clearview Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Robert Morris started strong, as they scored three goals in the first period. Assumption responded with a pair of power play tallies with
Rachel Agerter and
Natalie Joiner finding he back of the net to send the game to the third period with RMU leading 3-2.
The Colonials added an insurance goal early in the third period to make the final score 4-2.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Jadyn Weiser logged 41 saves for the Greyhounds.
- Robert Morris outshot Assumption 45-21, while the hosts won 42-of-55 faceoffs.
- Assumption was the only team to score on the power play, as they went 2-for-4, while the Colonials went 0-for-6.
- Robert Morris now leads the all-time series 2-0.
