WORCESTER, Mass.– The No. 5 nationally ranked Assumption University field hockey team lost 1-0 to the No. 5-ranked East Stroudsburg Warriors at home on Sunday afternoon at Brian Kelly '83 Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The lone goal of the contest came on a first-quarter penalty stroke for the Warriors. Their Senior midfielder, Elaiana Rivera-Lagalla, fired the ball past
Paige Gillette. Gillette was remarkable on all other chances, and the Greyhounds' defense in front of her stood their ground the rest of the game. Assumption pushed to the end, outshooting East Stroudsburg by five shots, but couldn't find the equalizer.
