WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University swimming and diving team had four top ten placements on Day Two of the Northeast 10 Conference Championships on Friday at the WPI Sports & Recreation Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In the morning session,
Jasmine Johnson began the day by qualifying for the women's 500 yd freestyle final (5:36.95), while
Sophia Lake (women's 200 yd IM – 2:15.52),
Audrey Hannigan (women's 50 yd freestyle – 24.96), and
Kenny Guan (men's 50 yd freestyle) all qualified for the final.
In the women's 500 yd freestyle final,
Jasmine Johnson improved her time, as she finished in 5:35.76.
Sophia Lake took off three seconds in the women's 200 yd IM (2:12.71), while
Audrey Hannigan (25.15) finished 13

Kenny Guan (21.45) took 12
th in their respective 50 yd freestyles.
The women's 200 yd freestyle relay grouping of Aubrina Garcia,
Sophia Lake,
Giulia Faulkner, and
Audrey Hannigan finished 7
th (1:41.51), while the men's squad of Alex Morales,
Sean Leary,
Austin Hyer, and
Kenny Guan finished ninth (1:30.17). In the 400 yd medley relay,
Ella Gilpin,
Sophia Lake,
Aubriana Garcia, and
Audrey Hannigan had a sixth-place finish (4:07.14), while the men's grouping of
Xavier Tula,
Sean Leary,
Austin Hyer, and Alex Morales took ninth (3:52.13).
