WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University Women's Ice Hockey team is back in the New England Women's Hockey Alliance Tournament, as the Greyhounds will host Post University in a best-of-three quarterfinal series beginning on Friday, February 27^th at 3:00 pm.

Record: 17-14-3 (17-8-3 NEWHA), 9-5-2 at home, 8-9-1 on the road

• This is the first time in program history that the Greyhounds are hosting a playoff game. 
• Assumption ranks second in the NEWHA in scoring offense (2.85), while also boasting the second-best scoring defense (2.21). 
• Nationally, the Hounds rank third with 33 power play goals, while their penalty kill ranks ninth (.861). 
• Kayla McGaffigan ranks second in the country with eight power-play goals, while linemate Caroline Lilley is fourth with two short-handed goals. 
• The Greyhounds support serious scoring depth, with 10 skaters with 10+ points, ranking third in the conference.

• Hannah Saunders is Post's only returning All-Conference selection from last year's squad, as she was also named the NEWHA Goalie of the Year.
