Baseball drops 3-0 decision to Franklin Pierce

WORCESTER, Mass.—The Assumption University baseball team dropped their second-straight game to Franklin Pierce University, falling 3-0 in Northeast 10 Conference action, Saturday afternoon at H.L. Rocheleau '24 Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Franklin Pierce was the first team to score, as they plated one run in the top of the second, before adding an insurance run in the eighth with a solo home run and another one coming in the ninth to win it 3-0. 
 
Tiarnan Doyle got the start for Assumption, as he went 8.0 innings, where he scattered four hits and struck out seven.
