WALTHAM, Mass.—The Assumption University baseball team fell to No. 19 nationally-ranked Bentley University 12-4, in Northeast 10 Conference action, Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Bentley jumped out to an early lead, as they hit a pair of two-run home runs in the bottom of the third inning. Their lead would grow to 11-0, with a seven-run fifth inning. Assumption got on the board at the top of the sixth, as
Chris Klein hit a solo home run, making it 11-1.
Eric Giarnese doubled home
Patrick Kostiw in the top of the seventh, before the Falcons tacked on an insurance run in the bottom of the frame. The Greyhounds added two runs in the top of the eighth, with
Michael Caron and
Anthony Marco recording RBI, but that would be all that Assumption would generate.
