INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Assumption University men's golf team has been selected to compete in the 2026 NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Championship tournament, set for May 8-10 in Johnston, Pennsylvania. 

The Greyhounds earned the East Regional No. 2 seed to book a spot in the field, which combines the top 10 teams in both the Atlantic and East regions, with the top six finishing teams and two individuals not with an advancing team making it to the national tournament later in May.

The University of Pittsburgh at Johnston will host the 54-hole regional championship at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnston, Pennsylvania. Live results of the tournament will be on Scoreboard.

Including Assumption, the East Central region qualifiers are Adelphi University, Post University, Southern New Hampshire University, Bentley University, St. Thomas Aquinas College, and Wilmington University (Del.).  The Atlantic region is represented by Gannon University, West Chester University (Pa.), Pitt-Johnston, Indiana (Pa.), Bluefield State, California (Pa.), Charleston (Va.), Winston-Salem State, Glenville State, Fairmont State, Fayetteville State, Wheeling, and West Liberty.
