NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Assumption University men's golf team had five Northeast 10 all-conference selections, headlined by
CJ Strong and
Christopher Stilwell being named to the Second Team, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
Strong and Stilwell were named to the second team, while
Lucas Levasseur,
Cole Vieira, and
Ethan Beauchemin found their way to the third team.
Strong had a solid freshman campaign, as he won the Granite State Opener back in September with a season-best -9. He followed it up with three more top-five finishes, while also placing sixth in the NE10 Championships. Stilwell had his best finish of the year in Florida, as he took third in Saint Anselm's Florida Invitational. He also had three more top-ten placements, including fifth at the conference championships.
Levasseur found his way to the All-NE10 Third Team, as he had four top-15 finishes, which include his fourth-place finish at the Hawk Invitational at Canida Woods in April. Vieira had a pair of top-10 placements, as he took sixth at the Penmen Spring Invitational. Beauchemin rounds out the All-Conference selections for the Greyhounds, as he finished seventh in the NE10 Championships
