WORCESTER, Mass. — The Assumption University men's lacrosse team is heading to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time in program history, as the Greyhounds will compete in the NCAA Division II North Region as the No. 6 seed at RVC Sports Complex.

Per NCAA Regulations, no parent passes or complimentary passes will be accepted.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW 

• Staunton was named as the Northeast 10 Conference Offensive Player of the Year, while also being named to the All-NE10 First Team. Ben McHugh, Trent Sargent, and Shane Corcoran were selected to the All-NE10 Second Team. Patrik McGrath was picked to the third team, while Kevin Chrabascz and Patrick Johnston found their way onto the All-Rookie Team. 
• The Greyhounds rank 22^nd in scoring offense (13.75), while their scoring defense (10.50) ranks 32^ndnationally. 
• Assumption has played nine nationally ranked teams and is 4-5 in those games. 
• The Hounds are led offensively by Boomer Staunton, who ranks 12^th nationally with 3.31 goals per game, while his 53 goals rank him sixth in total goals and first among midfielders. 
• Assumption uses a balanced scoring attack, with nine players scoring 10+ goals and six with 20+ points.
