JOHNSTON, Pa. – The Assumption University men's golf team sits in 16^th place after the opening round of the 2026 NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional at Sunnehanna Country Club, on Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Assumption fell behind early, as they made just three birdies as a team on the front nine, with Lucas Levasseaur, Cole Vieira, and Christopher Stilwell all knocking in one. Through the first nine holes, the team was a combined +15. 
 
Once they took the turn to the back nine, it looked like the Greyhounds figured it out, as all four scorers birdied the par-five 11^th hole, while Levasseaur and Vieira both made three birdies, while Stilwell had two. On the final holes, the Blue and White turned in a +4.
